Deron Hock

From Boots To Toolbelts

Deron Hock grew up all over the place, the life of an Army kid, before his family finally settled in San Antonio when he was nine. After years of moving, San Antonio quickly felt like home. The friendly people, the mix of cultures and the great food reminded him why this city is so special.

After serving in the military himself, Deron was ready for something new. A friend mentioned HVAC school, and something about it just clicked. It was a chance to work with his hands, meet new people and keep learning — everything he was looking for. Fifteen years later, he’s still doing what he does best, fixing systems, meeting people and making sure families stay comfortable in their homes.

No Two Days — Or People — Are The Same

Deron Hock

For Deron, every day on the job is a little different, and that’s what keeps it fun. One call might mean troubleshooting a tough system, while the next is a friendly visit with a homeowner he’s helped before. No matter what, he loves that his work gives him the chance to meet new people and help them feel comfortable in their homes.

He’s a people person through and through, and it shows in the way he works. Deron believes great service isn’t just about fixing a system. It’s about making sure each homeowner feels cared for from start to finish. Whether he’s teaching someone how to change a filter or making sure their AC runs better than ever, his goal is the same: leave every home better than he found it.

Proud To Help, Grateful To Serve

Fifteen years in, Deron still enjoys the simple parts of the job, meeting new people, fixing what’s broken and making sure everything’s working the way it should. He takes pride in a job done right and in knowing homeowners can count on him to get things back to normal.

It’s not about big moments for him. It’s about being there when people need help and leaving them comfortable, cool and happy with the work. And if he can make someone smile along the way, even better.

Beach Days, Mud Trails And Everything In Between

When he’s off the clock, Deron’s all about family. He and his wife stay busy with three kids and three dogs. There’s always something going on: a game, a project or a quick run to the beach. When there’s time to unwind, you’ll probably find him with friends and family, covered in a little mud and having a good time.

For Deron, that mix of family, friends and fresh air is what keeps life good. It’s also what reminds him why he does what he does, helping families stay comfortable and enjoy their homes, too.
