Jason Kidwell

A Hands-On Journey To The Right Fit

Born and raised in San Antonio, Jason Kidwell has always been proud to call this city home. He grew up going to El Dorado Elementary, Krueger Middle School and MacArthur High, where he graduated in 1998. What he loves most about San Antonio is its sense of community, the people, the culture, the Spurs and the endless spots to grab good food. Whether he’s hiking through the Hill Country or exploring local favorites, Jason’s passion for his hometown runs deep.

Like many tradesmen, Jason didn’t have it all figured out at first. He tried plumbing, electrical work and just about everything in between before finding his place in HVAC at 19 years old. What started as a job turned into a lifelong career. Twenty-six years later, he’s still doing what he loves.

Helping Homeowners Feel Confident, Not Confused

Over the years, Jason has worked his way through the trade from installation to service before stepping into his role as a Comfort Advisor at Wright Home Services. What drives him today is simple: helping homeowners understand their options and setting both them and the install teams up for success.

For Jason, HVAC isn’t just about temperature control. It’s about teaching families how comfort systems work and helping them feel confident in their investment.

When homeowners know the “why” behind a recommendation, they gain peace of mind — and that’s what matters most to him.

The Best Part Of The Job? The People.

What Jason enjoys most about his work is meeting new people and hearing their stories. Every home, every family and every conversation is different, and that variety keeps things meaningful. He’s quick to say that his job is about more than just systems — it’s about people. And being part of a team that shares that belief motivates him to keep showing up and giving his best every day.

Honestly, what motivates him most is the people he works with and the homeowners he helps. Knowing that together they’re making families more comfortable gives him a real sense of purpose. At the end of the day, Jason says it best, “I can put my head on my pillow with peace of mind, knowing it was a good day.”

A Tune Outside Of Work

Outside of work, Jason’s creativity shines through painting, epoxy projects and singing. He’s an animal lover with two cats and a soft spot for all creatures. His favorite movie is The Goonies and his favorite song, Hey Jude by The Beatles, never fails to make him smile.

His most recent adventure took him to Bellingham, Washington, where he spent eight days surrounded by stunning scenery and a slower pace of life. Experiences like that remind him why it’s important to keep exploring, keep learning and keep finding joy, both on and off the job.
